Slip Lining

The slip lining technique is offered by Minimal Impact as one of our trenchless pipe rehabilitation methods for watermains, sewers, gas mains, stormwater lines, etc.

The technique is suitable mainly for rehabilitation of oversized corroded pipes as the new liner will be of a smaller diameter. The carrying capacity of the pipe would be improved as the quality of the new inserted pipe will be much better than the old pipe.

Various lining pipes of corrosive resistance material may be used with this technique. Other types of pipe can be used as a liner with this technique, such as HDPE, flexpipe, flex steel, steel, clay etc. The slip lining technique is suitable for pipes of 150 mm to more than 1500 mm diameter. The installation requires one excavation pit – the lead in trench.
